NAME

Tty - set/print Tty variables

 

SYNOPSIS

WA2LWinTools/lib/shell/Tty [ -h | -V ]

Tty ( -p | -r )

DESCRIPTION

set/print/reset environment variables in the terminal (Tty).

The Tty command is started on wtshell initialization.

Because the console (1m) command and the Windows™ cmd.exe shell handle no singnals on resize, the Tty command can be used to update dynamic variables (like %COLUMNS% and %ROWS%) manually.

 

OPTIONS

-h
usage message.

-V
print program version.

-r
reset (remove) environment variables set by Tty.

-p
print environment variables set by Tty to stderr.

 

ENVIRONMENT

%COLUMNS%
terminal width in characters.

%ROWS%
terminal height in characters.

 

EXIT STATUS

0
no error.

usage message displayed.

version message displayed.
