Auto-Logon Using Keypresses

You can configure System Scheduler to Auto-Logon the computer when it starts up or reboots.

Note: For Windows Vista the auto-logon used by System Scheduler sending keypresses does not work. Instead System Scheduler can turn on the MS Windows own auto-logon feature in Preferences. See Auto Logon Computer for more information.

Note: To Auto-Logon you need to have 'Start BEFORE Logon' enabled for Windows 9x/Me computers, or System Scheduler installed as a Service for NT/2000/XP/2003/Vista Computers.

First create a Logoff/Logon Computer event and set the Logon username and password as required. Now, to make this auto-logon happen on boot-up you need to set the 'Schedule' option to the following:

For Windows 95/98/ME computers set to: On Scheduler Start

For Windows NT/2000/XP/2003/Vista computers set to: On Service Start

Both the above scheduling options occur just after the logon box appears. Now reboot the computer to test.

If the logon does not work, you should try increasing the 'Delay' before sending 'Logon Keypresses'.

Remember: the logon feature is affected by the 'Logon Keypresses' preferences, check the preferences are set correctly for your computer.
